Color meditations
I started these abstract "color meditations" because I was yearning to get back to my acrylics and to just play; not think about it. It was a way to free my mind at the start of my days. I would first use left over cardboard that I had and start spreading the paint --- nothing in mind. I found that when I didn't do this in the morning I was a bit off and I missed it. I would come to my table when I was frustrated or upset about something. Sitting down and moving the paint around was my therapy and my way to process through whatever it was .... these have been a gift to myself
